Biography and education
Melissa started in theatre at a young age in school and community theatre, and she began to pursue it seriously in undergraduate school at Troy University. After taking some time to pursue work in film and television, Melissa attended Texas State University and earned a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre with a specialization in Playwriting. She began teaching Introduction to Fine Arts for the university 7 years ago, and she continues to pursue work in acting and writing as well. Melissa is happily married with three kids and lives in San Antonio, TX.
