Biography Section

Biography and Education

I have 12 years' experience teaching in the 2nd-8th grades. In 2013, I left my position teaching 8th grade science to pursue a doctoral degree. While working on my degree, I served as a DRA, and I also taught at a community college. In the summer of 2015, I began working at Texas State University in the C&I Department, becoming a full-time lecturer in the fall of 2015, and advancing to senior lecturer in the fall of 2020. In September, 2024, I was promoted to Associate Professor of Instruction.
