Biography
Ashley N. Arnio is an Associate Professor at Texas State University. She joined the faculty in 2014 after earning her Ph.D. in criminology from Florida State University. Her research interests are primarily in the areas of communities and crime and law and social control. Her work in these areas has led to studies explaining patterns in crime (street crimes, sex trafficking, and mortgage fraud) and differences in criminal justice response (including officer-involved shootings, imprisonment, and the use of pretrial detention).
